So I have decided that I need to get myself together with this blog…so I am going to try to post a blog everyday for the next week. (sort of just to see if I can)
At the beginning of this summer I took a little road trip to Washington, D.C. Ok, when I say little, it really took us over 19 hours to travel from North LA to DC. I was helping my wonderful, amazing, and lovely friend Emily move to DC for school and work. I cannot express how much fun we had driving together. We traveled through six states…SIX STATES (Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia (for .5 seconds), Tennessee, and Virginia)! I have to say, the great US of A seriously has some beautiful country.
I also had an amazing time visiting my friend Katelyn! We were able to go to a Theta Alumnae Happy Hour. We met some other ladies who are working and attending school in D.C. Emily, thank you for housing me and taking me with you! Katelyn, I am so glad I was able to spend some time with you! I can’t wait to see the two of you soon.
I just wanted to add that we saw the damage from the tornadoes in Alabama and some of the other states. I just hope that everyone continues to pray for the families of those lost and for the cities impacted.
This was definitely one for the bucket list! Literally, a “cross country-ish trip” is on my bucket list. Expect a post about bucket lists soon!
Ta-da for now!
